- Pray that necessary paper works for all members of "K Team" would be completed in time for them to attend the Team Conference in Turkey

There are hidden around one million Yazidi people worldwide who gained attention after being massacred by IS in 2014. Among them are Yazidis from Iraq who are being pushed back into conflict zones by the Iraqi government.
The Iraqi government is pushing to close all Yazidi refugee camps by this summer. Baghdad has even sued the Kurdish government for resisting the closure of Yazidi camps.
There are still over 250,000 Yazidis remaining in the camps, and they are being pressured to return to extremely difficult and dangerous conflict zones.
The area is also home to hostile Shia militia and PKK, leading to repeated bomb attacks and destruction of villages by Turkish airstrikes. Please pray for the Iraqi government to halt its plans to force the Yazidis back into this dangerous area.
Currently, SWM has established an M center in northern Iraq Kurdistan for the evangelization of Turkish Kurds, northern Iraq Kurdistan, Iran, and Syria.
There, they conduct refugee outreach, gospel dissemination, church planting training, sending, and church planting. In June 2023, they planted seeds of Christ's love by teaching English to children through refugee English camps.
The Iraqi government has resumed persecution by threatening to close the Yazidi refugee camps in this area. Intercessory prayers from supporters are needed for this cause. Please continue to pray, especially for the work in Kurdistan and the Yazidi refugee camps.
